Check-in & boarding
Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Boarding starts 15 minutes before departure at Nelson Mandela Gateway on V&A Waterfront.
Bring your mobile e-ticket and a valid ID or passport. The boarding gate closes 5 minutes before departure.
Weather policy
Robben Island sessions are weather-dependent. If a session is cancelled because of wind, swell or fog you can rebook to any future session at no charge, or receive a full refund within 5 business days.
We notify guests by email and SMS as soon as a session is cancelled — usually 1–2 hours before scheduled departure when possible.
